There are many types of plank grating for a variety of uses, including Steel Plank and Aluminum Plank with various hole patterns. Plank grating allows for light weight - easy to remove - pieces to be used for a large amount of projects. Heavy duty and unpunched plank options are available upon request.

Diamond Grip

Diamond Grip safety grating planks are manufactured as one-piece constructed channels with walking surfaces consisting of serrated edges on top of diamond shaped openings. Diamond Grip is available in a variety of plank widths and depths, are self cleaning, and the aggressive walking surface is exceptional for traction in oily, icy, or wet environments. Walkway and heavy duty walkway are available upon request.

Safety Grip

Safety Grip grating planks are manufactured as one-piece constructed channels with walking surfaces consisting of debossed holes each surrounded by 6 perforated buttons. Safety Grip is available in a variety of plank widths and depths. It is also a superior self-cleaning design that prevents build-up of snow or debris, and provides exceptional traction in oily, icy, or wet environments.

Safety Tread

Safety Tread channel is a one-piece plank grating manufactured by a cold forming process in the shape of a channel. The web of the channel is the walking surface which is covered with small perforated dimples. Along with plank and walkway options, ladder rungs are available upon request.

Stair Treads

Pieces can be used as stair treads without any extra fabrication. Nosings can be added upon request but are not necessary. Simply weld the plank grating to your stringers, or have us attach end plates for an easy and quick bolt connection.

HD Aluminum

Aluminum HD plank is typically used as an alternative to bar grating and is structurally sound and cosmetically attractive. It is made from extruded aluminum, is relatively maintenance free, and has no parts to work loose or splinter. The surface can be provided unpunched or with a variety of punch patterns for the passage of air, light, heat or moisture. A diagonal pattern is also available which meets the ADA requirements for wheelchair accessibility and high heel foot traffic.

 

The top walking surface is flush due to the interconnecting webs. This plank can be used as an alternative in places where bar grating with a covered plate is called for. An OnGrip slip resistant surface can be applied if required. This style of plank system is often seen in waste water treatment plants, entranceways, walkways, bridges, trails, marine refrigeration, stadiums, and more.
